In fact, our team from Kabegamiya Honpo experimented with how much flax wallpaper absorbs moisture in the air. Prepare two 30 cm square aquariums, one with PVC wallpaper and the other with his flax wallaper on top of the PVC wallpaper. A cup of hot water was placed in each aquarium, taken out after 10 minutes, and then the vaporized steam was observed to change.
As a result, the humidity inside the PVC wallpaper tank did not change much, while the flax wallpaper tank absorbed the humidity and the humidity dropped.
Flax wallpaper’s base material has the world’s highest level of safety and has obtained “Ecotex® Standard 100” certification, which certifies that fiber-related “materials” and “products” do not contain harmful chemical substances.
